The Rams now hold a 5-0 record. They play next when they travel to Pinnacle Classical Academy for a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 18. Highland Tech will play a Eagles squad coming off a 4-0 league win over Community Christian Academy (Bessemer City, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, Cherryville moves to 1-9 on the year. The Ironmen travel to East Gaston (Mt. Holly, NC) to play the Warriors in a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A bout on Wednesday, September 18. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 3-5. East Gaston won 3-2 in their recent non-league bout against West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC)
