Shawe Memorial Hilltoppers (Madison, IN) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Southwestern Rebels (Hanover, IN), 8-2 in a league test.

With the triumph, Shawe Memorial moves its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Hilltoppers host Rising Sun (Rising Sun, IN) to meet the Shiners in a Ohio River Valley test on Wednesday, September 18. The Shiners come into the test with a record of 2-4. Rising Sun lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Oldenburg Academy (Oldenburg, IN)

The Rebels now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host South Ripley for a Ohio River Valley test on Wednesday, September 18. Southwestern will meet a Raiders team coming off a 2-2 league Jac-Cen-Del (Osgood, IN). The Raiders record now stands at 1-8.
