The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Spalding Jaguars (Griffin, GA) and the visiting Crawford County Eagles (Roberta, GA), observed Spalding's softball team notch a victory over Crawford County by a tally of 11-3.

The Jaguars (13-8) will now prepare for their bout against Fayette County (Fayetteville, GA). The Tigers go into the 3A Region 2 bout with a 1-9 record. In their last bout, Fayette County was routed by LaGrange (LaGrange, GA), 16-4, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Marion County Eagles (Buena Vista, GA) in a 1A D-II Region 6 bout, on Tuesday, September 17. Crawford County will attempt to advance on its 7-8 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 11-10 record after their 8-0 non-league win over Hawkinsville (Hawkinsville, GA).
