Georgia High School Softball - Johnson County sneaks past Swainsboro

In Monday's non-league match, the host Johnson County Trojans softball team scored a tight 2-1 win over the Swainsboro Tigers.
The Trojans (10-4) will now prepare for their match against Twiggs County (Jeffersonville, GA). The Cobras come into the 1A D-II Region 5 match with a 0-4 record. In their last match, Twiggs County was nipped by Wilkinson County (Irwinton, GA), 16-9, in a league match.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Savannah Christian Raiders (Savannah, GA) in a 1A D-I Region 3 match, on Tuesday, September 17. Swainsboro will attempt to better on its 8-8 season record. The Raiders come into the match with a 10-7 record after their 6-2 non-league win over South Effingham (Guyton, GA).
