Ohio High School Volleyball - Ansonia over Union City

September 16, 2024: Ansonia, OH 45303

Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Ansonia Tigers (Ansonia, OH) and the visiting Union City Indians (Union City, IN), observed Ansonia's volleyball team top Union City by a count of 3-0.

The Tigers (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Tri-Village (New Madison, OH). The Patriots enter the Western Ohio Athletic contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Tri-Village was knocked off by Marion Local (Maria Stein, OH), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Indians meet the Union Rockets (Modoc, IN) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 17. Union City will attempt to move on its 0-12 season record. The Rockets enter the contest with a 2-8 record after their 3-0 league loss to Daleville (Daleville, IN).
