Connecticut High School Volleyball - Mercy can't get by Branford

The Branford Hornets edged the visiting Mercy Tigers volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Monday's league game.

Next up, the Hornets confront the Lyman Hall Trojans (Wallingford, CT) in a Southern Connecticut - Hammonasset game, on Wednesday, September 18. Branford will attempt to advance on its 2-4 season record. The Trojans go into the game with a 2-4 record after their 3-0 league loss to Lauralton Hall (Milford, CT).

The Tigers (2-4) will now prepare for their game against Hand (Madison, CT). The Tigers go into the Southern Connecticut - Hammonasset game with a 1-2 record.
