In Monday's non-league challenge, the host North Plainfield Canucks volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Carteret Ramblers.

The Canucks (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Highland Park (Highland Park, NJ). The Owls come into the non-league challenge with a 0-5 record. In their last challenge, Highland Park was nudged by New Brunswick (New Brunswick, NJ), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Ramblers play the Highland Park Owls (Highland Park, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 20. Carteret will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
