The Firebirds now possess a 4-7 record. They play next when they travel to Community Baptist for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 19. Phoenix Academy will clash with a Conqueror team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Oak Level Baptist Academy (Stokesdale, NC). The Conqueror record now stands at 0-4.

With the loss, Clover Garden School drops to 7-4 on the campaign. The Grizzlies travel to Ascend Leadership (Sanford, NC) to clash with the Aviators in a Central Tar Heel 1A bout on Tuesday, September 17. The Aviators come into the bout with a record of 1-5. Ascend Leadership won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Triangle Math & Science (Apex, NC)
