West Point Pointers (West Point, VA) boosters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Colonial Beach Drifters (Colonial Beach, VA), 3-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, West Point improves its record to 4-6 on the season. The Pointers travel to Mathews (Mathews, VA) to face the Blue Devils in a Tidewater test on Tuesday, September 17. The Blue Devils go into the test with a record of 1-4. Mathews lost 3-0 in their recent league test against King William (King William, VA)

The Drifters now own a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host The Carmel School for a non-league test on Thursday, September 19. Colonial Beach will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Guardian Christian Academy (Chesterfield, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-6.
