In Tuesday's league match, the Pine Ridge Thorpes (Pine Ridge, SD) volleyball squad overcame the host Little Wound Mustangs (Kyle, SD), by a count of 3-0.
Next up, the Thorpes battle the Cheyenne-Eagle Butte Braves (Eagle Butte, SD) in a non-league match, on Monday, September 23. Pine Ridge will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record.
The Mustangs (4-4) will now prepare for their match against Todd County (Mission, SD). The Falcons enter the A Region 7 match with a 5-4 record. In their last match, Todd County notched a victory over Cheyenne-Eagle Butte (Eagle Butte, SD), 3-1, in a non-league match.
