Fans at Monday's league contest between the Muhlenberg County Mustangs (Greenville, KY) and the host McLean County Cougars (Calhoun, KY), observed Muhlenberg County's volleyball team top McLean County by a count of 3-0.

The Mustangs (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against Breckinridge County (Harned, KY). The Fighting Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Breckinridge County notched a victory over Frederick Fraize (Cloverport, KY), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Cougars battle the Hopkins County Central Storm (Madisonville, KY) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 17. McLean County will attempt to move on its 3-12 season record.
