The Wilcox RVT Wildcats volleyball squad (Meriden, CT), was edged 3-2 in Monday's league battle with the host Whitney RVT Owls (Hamden, CT)

With the win, Whitney RVT improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Owls host Harding (Bridgeport, CT) to encounter the Presidents in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 19. The Presidents go into the battle with a record of 0-1.

The Wildcats now own a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cheney RVT for a non-league battle on Wednesday, September 18. Wilcox RVT will encounter a Beavers squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Norwich RVT (Norwich, CT). The Beavers record now stands at 0-3.
