Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Foothill Falcons (Pleasanton, CA) and the host Granada Matadors (Livermore, CA), observed Foothill's volleyball team hold off Granada by a count of 2-1.

The Falcons (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Monte Vista (Danville, CA). The Mustangs go into the battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Monte Vista tipped Carondelet (Concord, CA), 2-1, in a league battle.

The Matadors now own a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to San Ramon Valley for a battle on Thursday, September 18. Granada will meet a Wolves team coming off a 2-0 league win over California (San Ramon, CA). The Wolves record now stands at 1-0.
