Colorado High School Flag Football - Coronado toppled by Fountain-Fort Carson

The Coronado Cougars flag football squad (Colorado Springs, CO), was outscored 31-22 in Tuesday's league contest with the host Fountain-Fort Carson Trojans (Fountain, CO)

The Trojans (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Vista Ridge (Colorado Springs, CO). The Wolves enter the 5A/4A Southern Colorado contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Vista Ridge was outscored by Palmer (Colorado Springs, CO), 13-7, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Cougars battle the Air Academy Kadets (US Air Force Academy, CO) in a 5A/4A Southern Colorado contest, on Wednesday, September 17. Coronado will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The Kadets go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 12-6 non-league win over Fountain-Fort Carson (Fountain, CO).
