Minnesota High School Soccer - East Grand Forks knocks off Hillcrest Lutheran Academy

In Tuesday's non-league outing, the visiting East Grand Forks Green Wave soccer squad scored a tight 5-1 victory over the Hillcrest Lutheran Academy Comets.

The Green Wave (4-3) will now prepare for their outing against Bemidji (Bemidji, MN). The Lumberjacks go into the Class A Section 8 outing with a 5-2 record. In their last outing, Bemidji edged Detroit Lakes (Detroit Lakes, MN), 6-0, in a league test.

The Comets now have a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Walker-Hackensack-Akeley for a non-league test on Saturday, September 20. Hillcrest Lutheran Academy will clash with a Wolves team coming off a 3-1 league win over St. John's Prep (Collegeville, MN). The Wolves record now stands at 6-3.
