In Tuesday's league outing, the visiting St. John's Prep Johnnies soccer squad scored a nice 8-0 victory over the Melrose Dutchmen.

The Johnnies (7-2) will now prepare for their outing against Walker-Hackensack-Akeley (Walker, MN). The Wolves go into the Class A Section 8 outing with a 5-3 record. In their last outing, Walker-Hackensack-Akeley prevailed over Melrose (Melrose, MN), 7-3, in a league outing.

Next up, the Dutchmen confront the St. Cloud Cathedral Crusaders (St. Cloud, MN) in a Class A Section 8 outing, on Thursday, September 18. Melrose will attempt to improve on its 0-8 season record. The Crusaders come into the test with a 11-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Brainerd (Brainerd, MN).
