The Providence Panthers soccer squad scored 5 points and held the host Palisades Pumas to 0 in the Panthers non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Panthers now hold a 8-0 record. They play next when they travel to Ballantyne Ridge for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 18. Providence will play a Wolves squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC). The Wolves record now stands at 4-3.
With the loss, Palisades moves to 4-4 on the year. The Pumas host Rocky River (Mint Hill, NC) to face the Ravens in a non-league game on Thursday, September 18. The Ravens enter the game with a record of 0-7. Rocky River lost 9-0 in their recent non-league game against East Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC)
