The Asheboro Blue Comets volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Eastern Guilford Wildcats to 0 in the Blue Comets non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Blue Comets now have a 10-3 record. They play next when they host Northeast Guilford for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 18. Asheboro will play a Rams team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Rams record now stands at 0-3.

With the loss, Eastern Guilford drops to 1-7 on the season. The Wildcats host Northern Guilford (Greensboro, NC) to confront the Nighthawks in a non-league game on Thursday, September 18. The Nighthawks go into the game with a record of 6-2. Northern Guilford won 2-0 in their recent non-league game against Southern Guilford (Greensboro, NC)
