Cardinal Newman Cardinals (Columbia, SC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Heathwood Hall Episcopal Highlanders (Columbia, SC), 2-0 in a league challenge.

The Cardinals (11-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Northside Christian Academy (Lexington, SC). The Crusaders come into the challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Northside Christian Academy beat Ben Lippen (Columbia, SC), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Highlanders face the Ben Lippen Falcons (Columbia, SC) in a test, on Tuesday, September 23. Heathwood Hall Episcopal will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record.
