The Pirates enter the contest with a record of 13-1. Swansboro won 2-1 in their recent league contest against Richlands (Richlands, NC)

In their next game, the Bulldogs encounter the West Carteret Patriots (Morehead City, NC) in a non-league test, on Thursday, September 18. Dixon will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Patriots go into the test with a 12-1 record after their 2-1 non-league win over J.H. Rose (Greenville, NC).
