With the win, Germantown improves its record to 2-2 on the season. The Mavericks host Pearl (Pearl, MS) to face the Pirates in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 23. The Pirates go into the test with a record of 2-2. Pearl lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Petal (Petal, MS)

The Mustangs now own a 0-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Starkville for a non-league test on Thursday, September 18. Murrah will face a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Clinton (Clinton, MS). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 2-4.
