Halifax Academy Vikings (Roanoke Rapids, NC) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Lawrence Academy Warriors (Merry Hill, NC), 2-0 in a league test.

With the win, Halifax Academy improves its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Vikings host Albemarle School (Elizabeth City, NC) to meet the Colts in a challenge on Thursday, September 18. The Colts come into the challenge with a record of 4-3. Albemarle School won 2-1 in their recent league challenge against Northeast Academy (Lasker, NC)

Next, the Warriors meet the Greenfield Knights (Wilson, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 17. Lawrence Academy will attempt to improve on its 8-4 season record. The Knights go into the test with a 2-10 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Epiphany (New Bern, NC).
