In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Swain County Maroon Devils volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Highlands Highlanders.

The Maroon Devils (8-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Hayesville (Hayesville, NC). The Yellowjackets enter the challenge with a 12-1 record. In their last test, Hayesville gained a win over Murphy (Murphy, NC), 2-0, in a league test.

The Highlanders now sport a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rabun County for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 23. Highlands will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Hart County (Hartwell, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 13-7.
