Waterloo Bulldogs (Waterloo, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the host Jersey Panthers (Jerseyville, IL), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Civic Memorial (Bethalto, IL). The Eagles enter the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record.

Next, the Panthers meet the Mascoutah Indians (Mascoutah, IL) in a non-league test, on Thursday, September 18. Jersey will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record.
