The La Porte Slicers volleyball team (La Porte, IN), was beaten 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the visiting Lake Central Indians (St. John, IN)

The Indians (8-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Valparaiso (Valparaiso, IN). The Vikings enter the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record.

Next, the Slicers meet the Chesterton Trojans (Chesterton, IN) in a test, on Thursday, September 18. La Porte will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record. The Trojans go into the test with a 16-4 record after their 2-0 league win over Merrillville (Merrillville, IN).
