The Statesmen (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Fuqua (Farmville, VA). The Falcons enter the non-league challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Fuqua was tipped by Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot (Powhatan, VA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Chargers meet the Mecklenburg County Phoenix (Baskerville, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 17. Lunenburg Central will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Phoenix enter the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Randolph-Henry (Charlotte Court House, VA).
