In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Western Albemarle Warriors volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Monticello Mustangs.
The Warriors (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Goochland (Goochland, VA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 7-1 record. In their last test, Goochland achieved victory over Maggie Walker (Richmond, VA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
The Mustangs now own a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Albemarle for a non-league test on Thursday, September 18. Monticello will face a Patriots squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Orange County (Orange, VA). The Patriots record now stands at 6-0.
