In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Rancho Cucamonga Cougars volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the St. Lucy's Regents.

The Cougars (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Los Osos (Rancho Cucamonga, CA). The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a 14-2 record. In their last test, Los Osos nudged Chino Hills (Chino Hills, CA), 2-0, in a league test.

The Regents now have a 5-9 record. They play next when they travel to Etiwanda for a outing on Thursday, September 18. St. Lucy's will play a Eagles team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Los Osos (Rancho Cucamonga, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-4.
