In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Staunton Storm volleyball squad scored a 2-0 win over the Waynesboro Little Giants.

With the win, Staunton improves its record to 5-2 on the season. The Storm travel to Alleghany (Covington, VA) to face the Cougars in a non-league test on Thursday, September 18. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 4-1. Alleghany won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA)

The Little Giants now own a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Buffalo Gap for a non-league test on Monday, September 22. Waynesboro will meet a Bison team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Bath County (Hot Springs, VA). The Bison record now stands at 5-3.
