The Lakers now hold a 8-5 record. They play next when they host Greenwood for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 20. Calloway County will play a Gators squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Bowling Green (Bowling Green, KY). The Gators record now stands at 9-5.

With the loss, Mayfield moves to 5-8 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Murray (Murray, KY) to play the Tigers in a District 2 bout on Thursday, September 18. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 12-0. Murray won 3-2 in their recent non-league bout against University Heights (Hopkinsville, KY)
