The Dragons (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Field Kindley (Coffeyville, KS). The Golden Tornado enter the Southeast Kansas battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Field Kindley tipped Independence (Independence, KS), 3-0, in a league match.

The Blue Comets now sport a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Parsons for a Southeast Kansas match on Thursday, September 18. Chanute will meet a Vikings team coming off a 10-2 league loss to Independence (Independence, KS). The Vikings record now stands at 1-3.
