South Stokes Sauras (Walnut Cove, NC) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Cornerstone Charter Cardinals (Greensboro, NC), 6-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, South Stokes advances its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Sauras host Bishop McGuinness (Kernersville, NC) to clash with the Villains in a Greater Triad 1A/2A test on Thursday, September 18. The Villains come into the test with a record of 6-4. Bishop McGuinness won 10-0 in their recent league test against Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy (Winston-Salem, NC)

The Cardinals now have a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to North Stokes for a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 17. Cornerstone Charter will play a Vikings squad coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to Alleghany (Sparta, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 2-6.
