Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Warwick Wildcats (Warwick, NY) and the visiting Goshen Central Gladiators (Goshen, NY), saw Warwick's soccer squad hold off Goshen Central by a count of 3-2.

The Wildcats (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Valley Central (Montgomery, NY). The Vikings enter the Section 9 Division III battle with a 1-5 record. In their last match, Valley Central was tipped by Cornwall Central (New Windsor, NY), 5-0, in a league match.

The Gladiators now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Washingtonville for a non-league match on Thursday, September 18.
