Loyalsock Township Lancers (Williamsport, PA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting Jersey Shore Bulldogs (Jersey Shore, PA), 4-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Loyalsock Township moves its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Lancers host Hughesville (Hughesville, PA) to clash with the Spartans in a PIAA District IV-AA test on Thursday, September 18. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 4-4. Hughesville won 7-1 in their recent league test against Bloomsburg (Bloomsburg, PA)

The Bulldogs now sport a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Shikellamy for a Heartland I test on Thursday, September 18. Jersey Shore will clash with a Braves team coming off a 3-0 league win over Williamsport (Williamsport, PA). The Braves record now stands at 5-4.
