The Tecumseh Savages (Tecumseh, OK) softball nipped the visiting Berryhill Chiefs (Tulsa, OK), 1-0 in Tuesday's league outing.
The Savages now sport a 20-6 record. They take the field next when they host McLoud for a non-league test on Thursday, September 18. Tecumseh will meet a Redskins squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Cleveland (Cleveland, OK). The Redskins record now stands at 21-7.
The Chiefs (4-16) will now prepare for their test against Fort Gibson (Fort Gibson, OK). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 16-7 record. In their last outing, Fort Gibson was tipped by Hilldale (Muskogee, OK), 10-1, in a non-league outing.
