The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Locust Grove Pirates (Locust Grove, OK) and the host Bluejacket Chieftains (Bluejacket, OK), observed Locust Grove's softball squad beat Bluejacket by a score of 11-1.

With the triumph, Locust Grove improves its record to 10-9 on the year. The Pirates host Sequoyah (Claremore, OK) to face the Eagles in a 4A District 7 contest on Thursday, September 18. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 10-14. Sequoyah won 4-3 in their recent non-league bout against Commerce (Commerce, OK)

In their next game, the Chieftains battle the Chelsea Dragons (Chelsea, OK) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 19. Bluejacket will attempt to advance on its 3-6 season record.
