Nebraska High School Softball - Boone Central bounces Pierce

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Boone Central Cardinals (Albion, NE) and the host Pierce Bluejays (Pierce, NE), saw Boone Central's softball squad nip Pierce by a score of 10-5.

With the triumph, Boone Central improves its record to 10-8 on the year. The Cardinals travel to St. Paul (St. Paul, NE) to face the Wildcats in a non-league contest on Thursday, September 18. The Wildcats enter the contest with a record of 6-6. St. Paul won 8-6 in their recent non-league contest against Raymond Central (Raymond, NE)

The Bluejays now hold a 7-10 record. They play next when they travel to Wayne for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 16. Pierce will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 15-0 non-league win over North Bend Central (North Bend, NE). The Blue Devils record now stands at 10-7.
