The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Bradwell Institute Tigers (Hinesville, GA) and the host First Preparatory Christian Academy Highlanders (Hinesville, GA), observed Bradwell Institute's softball team notch a victory over First Preparatory Christian Academy by a final score of 20-1.

The Tigers (2-16) will now prepare for their bout against Statesboro (Statesboro, GA). The Blue Devils go into the 5A Region 1 bout with a 4-14 record. In their last bout, Statesboro was routed by South Effingham (Guyton, GA), 12-0, in a league bout.

Next up, the Highlanders face the Vidalia Heritage Academy Eagles (Vidalia, GA) in a GIAA Class A & AA District 6 game, on Thursday, September 18. First Preparatory Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-9 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 0-7 record after their 16-1 league loss to Twiggs Academy (Jeffersonville, GA).
