Georgia High School Softball - Dalton knocked off by Cartersville

The Cartersville Hurricanes overwhelmed the visiting Dalton Catamounts softball squad by a count of 11-0 in Tuesday's league challenge.

Next, the Hurricanes meet the Cass Colonels (White, GA) in a 4A Region 7 battle, on Thursday, September 18. Cartersville will attempt to move on its 18-2 season record. The Colonels come into the battle with a 14-4 record after their 10-0 league win over Woodland (Cartersville, GA).

With the loss, Dalton moves to 0-14 on the season. The Catamounts host Hiram (Hiram, GA) to confront the Hornets in a 4A Region 7 battle on Thursday, September 18. The Hornets go into the test with a record of 4-12. Hiram lost 6-0 in their recent league test against Allatoona (Acworth, GA)
