Georgia High School Softball - Coosa succumbs to Fannin County

In Tuesday's league test, the Fannin County Rebels (Blue Ridge, GA) softball squad routed the visiting Coosa Eagles (Rome, GA), by a margin of 15-0.

The Rebels now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dade County for a 1A D-I Region 7 outing on Thursday, September 18. Fannin County will encounter a Wolverines team coming off a 13-0 league win over Gordon Central (Calhoun, GA). The Wolverines record now stands at 18-4.

With the loss, Coosa moves to 2-12 on the campaign. The Eagles host Gordon Central (Calhoun, GA) to clash with the Warriors in a 1A D-I Region 7 test on Thursday, September 18.
