Oklahoma High School Softball - Grove bounces Jay

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Grove Ridgerunners (Grove, OK) and the visiting Jay Bulldogs (Jay, OK), observed Grove's softball team notch a victory over Jay by a final score of 12-2.

The Ridgerunners (15-9) will now prepare for their bout against Bishop Kelley (Tulsa, OK). The Comets go into the non-league bout with a 10-9 record. In their last bout, Bishop Kelley was routed by Dewey (Dewey, OK), 11-2, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Ketchum Warriors (Ketchum, OK) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 18. Jay will attempt to improve on its 1-16 season record. The Warriors go into the match with a 8-13 record after their 13-3 league win over Oklahoma Union (South Coffeyville, OK).
