In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Guymon Tigers softball team scored a tight 14-9 win over the Laverne Tigers.
The Tigers (10-11) will now prepare for their match against Cache (Cache, OK). The Bulldogs come into the non-league match with a 21-7 record. In their last match, Cache nipped Bridge Creek (Blanchard, OK), 4-0, in a league match.
Next, the Tigers play the Arnett Wildcats (Arnett, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 18. Laverne will attempt to upgrade on its 8-10 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 9-17 record after their 11-2 league loss to Canute (Canute, OK).
