In Tuesday's league battle, the host Pike County Pirates softball team scored a nice 17-0 win over the Westside Seminoles.

The Pirates now possess a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Prince Avenue Christian for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 20. Pike County will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 5-2 league win over Franklin County (Carnesville, GA). The Wolverines record now stands at 17-2.

With the defeat, Westside falls to 1-9 on the year. The Seminoles travel to Rutland (Macon, GA) to meet the Hurricanes in a 2A Region 2 challenge on Tuesday, September 23. The Hurricanes enter the challenge with a record of 2-18. Rutland lost 18-1 in their recent league challenge against Callaway (Hogansville, GA)
