AGWSR Cougars (Ackley, IA) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host East Marshall Mustangs (Le Grand, IA), 3-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, AGWSR improves its record to 1-10 on the season. The Cougars host North Butler (Greene, IA) to face the Bearcats in a non-league test on Saturday, September 20. The Bearcats go into the test with a record of 7-8. North Butler won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Belmond-Klemme (Belmond, IA)

The Mustangs now own a 9-11 record. They play next when they travel to Grundy Center for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 23. East Marshall will meet a Spartans team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Mason City (Mason City, IA). The Spartans record now stands at 18-2.
