North Carolina High School Volleyball - Albemarle crushed by North Stanly

In Tuesday's league bout, the North Stanly Comets (New London, NC) volleyball team knocked off the host Albemarle Bulldogs (Albemarle, NC), by a margin of 3-0.

The Comets now possess a 8-9 record. They play next when they host Union Academy for a Yadkin Valley 2A/3A bout on Thursday, September 18. North Stanly will clash with a Cardinals team coming off a 3-0 league win over North Rowan (Spencer, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 13-2.

With the loss, Albemarle drops to 4-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host South Davidson (Denton, NC) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league match on Thursday, September 18. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 4-11. South Davidson lost 3-0 in their recent league match against Bishop McGuinness (Kernersville, NC)
