Ohio High School Volleyball - Alexander can't hold off Vinton County

September 16, 2025: McArthur, OH 45651

In Tuesday's league match, the Vinton County Vikings (McArthur, OH) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Alexander Spartans (Albany, OH), by a final score of 3-2.

Coming up next, the Vikings clash with the Eastern Eagles (Reedsville, OH) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, September 17. Vinton County will attempt to better on its 6-6 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 10-3 record after their 3-1 league win over Southern (Racine, OH).

With the loss, Alexander drops to 12-3 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Wellston (Wellston, OH) to clash with the Golden Rockets in a Tri-Valley - Ohio bout on Thursday, September 18. The Golden Rockets come into the bout with a record of 1-11. Wellston lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against River Valley (Bidwell, OH)
