Virginia High School Volleyball - Altavista overwhelmed by Appomattox County

The Appomattox County Raiders topped the host Altavista Colonels volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league game.

Next up, the Raiders confront the Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy Ospreys (Moneta, VA) in a Dogwood game, on Thursday, September 18. Appomattox County will attempt to advance on its 6-1 season record. The Ospreys come into the outing with a 0-2 record after their 3-0 league loss to Gretna (Gretna, VA).

With the loss, Altavista drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Colonels host Buckingham (Buckingham, VA) to play the Knights in a non-league outing on Monday, September 22. The Knights come into the outing with a record of 3-2. Buckingham won 3-2 in their recent league outing against Randolph-Henry (Charlotte Court House, VA)
