The Eastern Guilford Wildcats volleyball squad (Gibsonville, NC), dropped 3-0 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Asheboro Blue Comets (Asheboro, NC)

With the win, Asheboro improves its record to 10-3 on the season. The Blue Comets host Northeast Guilford (McLeansville, NC) to encounter the Rams in a TAAC Six 5A/6A battle on Thursday, September 18. The Rams enter the contest with a record of 5-7. Northeast Guilford lost 3-0 in their recent league contest against Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC)

Next, the Wildcats meet the Northern Guilford Nighthawks (Greensboro, NC) in a TAAC Six 5A/6A contest, on Thursday, September 18. Eastern Guilford will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Nighthawks enter the contest with a 10-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Southern Guilford (Greensboro, NC).
