In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Head-Royce Jayhawks volleyball squad scored a 3-0 win over the Athenian Owls.
With the win, Head-Royce improves its record to 9-4 on the season. The Jayhawks travel to Encinal (Alameda, CA) to face the Jets in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 17. The Jets go into the test with a record of 7-4. Encinal won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against De Anza (El Sobrante, CA)
The Owls now own a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Concord for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 17. Athenian will face a Bears squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Skyline (Oakland, CA). The Bears record now stands at 0-5.
