The Ball Tornadoes volleyball team (Galveston, TX), was beaten 3-0 in Tuesday's league challenge with the host La Porte Bulldogs (La Porte, TX)

The Bulldogs (17-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Santa Fe (Santa Fe, TX). The Indians enter the 5A Region III District 20 challenge with a 7-17 record. In their last challenge, Santa Fe beat Iowa Colony (Iowa Colony, TX), 3-1, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Tornadoes face the Friendswood Mustangs (Friendswood, TX) in a 5A Region III District 20 challenge, on Friday, September 19. Ball will attempt to upgrade on its 13-14 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 24-8 record after their 3-0 league win over Texas City (Texas City, TX).
